That's interesting about the 32-bit. I wonder if that's why some Mac software will not export transparent backgrounds to .mov?

If I use two .png files with transparent backgrounds, it would be nice to have the .avi file also have the transparent background.

I do not know whether the .avi format is capable of this, although I know .mov is.
