Sorry, false alarm. :? It had slipped my mind that GIF transparency is binary, not an alpha channel with varying degrees of transparency. I had said that the threshold slider didn't work; that was a quirk of the particular sequence I had been looking at. Others made sense according to that setting. ...

Another question related to transparency
It appears that sequence effects are applied to all sequences in multiple-sequence projects. Is there any way to set something like, let's say, a background image or color, or a transition, that belongs to one particular sequence, and different effects for different sequences?

I am using FantaMorph 4.1. Deluxe. This came up when I tried to do a morph with an image with an alpha channel.
